GNC Holiday Assistance Program
During holiday months families experience
significant stresses due to poverty. This is when the
GNC is especially important. Every year the GNC collects
toys and food for hundreds in need, assisting low to
moderate income residents of Germantown and the neighboring
communities in Quincy.
Residents are encouraged to volunteer their
time helping with the drive. This has proven to be extremely
worthwhile, enabling individuals to feel more comfortable
attending programs, which often links them to employment.
All are invited to celebrate the holiday
season this year by purchasing a toy for a child, a
gift for a teen, or contributing to a family’s Christmas
dinner. Thanks to hundreds of generous friends, the
Germantown Neighborhood Center has served more than
a thousand families in need during the holidays.

look for food and toy drop-off locations at the Mill
