Welcome to the Germantown Neighborhood Center (GNC)
Always alive with positive activities,
each year the Neighborhood Center helps over a thousand
adults, youth and seniors who are living in a challenging
social and financial environment. We do this by enabling
individuals to gain skills and acquire confidence to
take action that will improve their lives and those
of their families.
The Germantown Neighborhood Council governs
the Neighborhood Center. They work with support and
guidance from the South Shore YMCA to identify and develop
strategies to address community needs. Through collaborative
efforts with the City of Quincy and many local agencies,
together we are helping to build strong kids, strong
families, and strong communities.
Located at the former St. Boniface Church
on 366 Palmer Street in Germantown, the Neighborhood
Center is on the frontline of furthering the mission
of the South Shore YMCA.
