Babysitting/Playroom
Children ages six weeks through six years
old have lots of fun in our Playroom.
Parents must be on the premises while the
child is in babysitting. A time limit of two hours per
day (one hour for children under 12 months old) is enforced.
Members visiting the Playroom must follow the
babysitting
guidelines in our brochure. Please ask for a Playroom
brochure at the Member Service desk to view complete
Playroom hours. This is a well-child facility.
To ensure that all children in our care
are kept as safe as possible, we have a security system
using YMCA key tags or photo IDs and security bands. Each child is issued
a security band containing important identification
information, which he or she must wear at all times
while in the Playroom. Before leaving the area, the
child's band is matched by staff to the YMCA key tag or photo ID of
the person who brought in the child to ensure that the
child is leaving with the correct person.
Use of the Playroom is a Household
Membership benefit.
