Having spent more than 25 years in YMCA Camping, Bruce is confident when he attests, "There is no other program that exists today that has the potential to positively impact children and provide life-long experiences. " Along with serving as Executive Director for Camps Burgess & Hayward, Bruce also oversees the South Shore Natural Science Center Branch, and is fronting the SSYMCA's efforts in achieving company-wide sustainability, by ensuring our practices are socially, ecologically and economically sound. 

Asa Gallagher

Asa has resided in Massachusetts his whole life, and prior to becoming Director, had been a part of the Camp Burgess community for many years in the roles of Counselor, Trip Leader, and Outdoor Education Instructor.  He is an artist that works across many media, and recently completed his graduate studies in visual arts.  You will often find him hiking and canoeing around Spectacle Pond, or building stick sculptures in the woods.  Asa lives with his family at Camp Burgess in a really old, but wonderful house.

Jessica Williams

Jessie is from Norwell, Massachusetts and started attending Camp Hayward as a camper in 1998.  Throughout the years she has been a Counselor-In-Training, Junior Counselor, Counselor, Resource Staff Member and Outdoor Education Instructor. Jessie has travelled and worked across the country in different camp settings, leading her back to Spectacle Pond to settle in as the Camp Hayward Director.

Meghan Hill

Meghan made her way to Camp in 2010, subsequent to attaining her Masters Degree in Education.  She spends the majority of her time corresponding with camper families, yet is passionate about program development, and thrives in her role facilitating the Family Camps and Women's Wellness Retreats.  An avid surfer and nature writer, Meghan is often found combing the seashore with her husband and children.
