Community Service
Base Camp Service Week is a great opportunity for teens to earn up to 20 hours of community service and get to know all of our Summer 2012 Trip Leaders. Work will focus on setting up and improving our Base Camp site, including trail building and maintenance, painting, creative projects, and building new program areas.
Not all we do is work, though. We take abundant breaks for scheduled daily swims and siestas, as well as daily scheduled camp activities such as climbing or canoeing. Our home for the week is our Base Camp, and meals are split between the Burgess Dining Hall and our Base Camp.
