Volunteer Opportunities
As part of our camps every summer, we offer teens the opportunity to volunteer and stay involved in all of the great activities going on. Our peerleader program is for youth going into grades 6-9. Teens between 15-17 years old can also fill out volunteer packets and be part of our summer volunteer group.
We train youth to be able to assist our camp counselors with activities such as arts, games, swimming, water fun, sports, cooking, and dance. They can stay in groups of their peers or gain leadership skills by helping our camp staff plan activities for the younger camp groups. Most of our teens become a big part of the GNC family and return year after year, eventually becoming part of our staff.
Youth who are interested in volunteering with the camps should come by about a week or two prior to pick up a volunteer packet or call us at (617 )376-1384.
