From group exercise to personal training, at Emilson we offer classes and instruction for every ability, age, and skill level. All members receive 3 complimentary one-hour orientation sessions at our Health & Well-being Center. Whether it's your first time at the Y or a refresher session, our experienced and knowledgeable staff will help you begin your journey to success.
Group Exercise classes are a great way to stay active, meet friends, and explore new fitness routines. Classes are open to all levels and include spinning, Zumba, yoga, and body combat.
Personal & Small Group Training
Our certified trainers can provide the motivation, support, and knowledge to help you reach your health and fitness goals. Working one-on-one can help you create a personalized exercise plan and maximize the effectiveness of your workout. Our Small Group Training is an opportunity to exercise with friends while gaining the expertise of a trainer. Personal trainers at Emilson offer:

The Y welcomes all ages and levels. Programs for active older adults that are included as a benefit of Y membership include Fit, Fun and Firm, Gentle Yoga, Gentle Pilates, Gentle Yogalates, Body Vive and Zumba Gold. We also offer a Structured Exercise Program for individuals living with diabetes and/or transitioning from cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation as well as for those who need Pre/Post Operative care. All Structured Excercise Programs are also included with Full Membership. Other fitness programs offered for a fee include Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yin Yoga and the Arthritus Foundation Aqua classes.
We're dedicated to improving the mind, body, and spirit of all our members. The Partnership Program matches individuals requiring the assistance of an exercise partner with a volunteer for one-on-one training. Our friendly, supportive trainers create an individual fitness plan and teach the team how to use our specialized strength and cardiovascular equipment. Participants without a partner are welcome to sign up and will be matched with a volunteer. The Partnership Program is available to members at no cost.
