Mill Pond

Arts & Education

Arts & Education at Mill Pond is a place where kids come to explore their creativity, express ideas, and develop problem-solving skills.  The South Shore YMCA works with children of all ages in the Arts & Education programs, teaching kids to paint, write, sing, act, and make a film in a fun, nurturing environment.  All classes are taught by professional educators, writers, musicians, and dancers.

Academic Enrichment

Enrichment classes combine creativity, problem-solving skills, and kinetics.  These classes, taught by experienced teachers and volunteers, help kids learn while they have fun and meet new friends.

Dance

Creative Movement classes at Mill Pond are open to children aged 2 and a half to 10 years.  Kids explore and practice coordination and movement in a fun and upbeat environment, while learning proper technique. Classes change each session, but include hip-hop, modern, introductory, and multicultural dance.
