Our sports programs at Mill Pond promote good sportsmanship, healthy competition, and fun for all. Coached by dedicated volunteers, kids build self-confidence and social skills through teamwork and cooperation. We offer a variety of sports each season, including:

New England Taekwon-Do at Mill Pond
New England Taekwon-Do has been part of the South Shore Y for 15 years. It has helped many adults and children learn self-defense skills along with improved fitness, confidence and concentration. Students advance at their own pace in an atmosphere that promotes respect and self-confidence.
Classes held Tuesday and Thursday evenings!
6:30 PM to 7:30 PM Beginner Youth Class (ages 6-13)
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Advanced Youth Class (ages 6-13)
8:00 PM to 9:00 PM Teen / Adult Class (ages 13+ and up, all levels)
Classes are suitable for beginner to expert, for men, women and children of all ages and all fitness levels. Our Black Belt Instructors are certified by the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and the United States Taekwon-Do Federation (USTF) and have more than 50 years combined experience.
