Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for young children to learn, thrive, and grow. Learning Center The South Shore YMCA Learning Center at our Quincy Branch provides a full-day, high quality early education and care program throughout the year. We provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, linguistic, emotional and social growth of children, while supporting and strengthening families. Full-time and part-time programs are available for toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms. |

Nature Center Preschool The Nature Center Preschool at the South Shore Natural Science Center combines the idea of a traditional preschool program with all the extra opportunities and excitement offered by the facilities and staff of the South Shore Natural Science Center. Naturalists from the Science Center visit the preschool regularly to provide enrichment activities. |
School Age Child Care

SACC Quincy Our Quincy SACC after-school program provides a safe, fun environment for children grades K through 6 from elementary and middle schools throughout Quincy with sites located at the SSYMCA Quincy Branch, Clifford H. Marshall Elementary School, Bethel Church of the Nazarene and a NEW site at Broad Meadows Middle School. Transportation from the child's school to the School Age Child Care site, healthy snacks and a healthy lunch on half-days are all included in the program. |

SACC Norwell & Scituate Our Norwell SACC programs include before and after school care for students grades K through 6 at Vinal Elementary School and Cole Elementary School as well as an after school program for students at South Shore Charter Public School. |

School Vacation Programs School Vacation programs at the South Shore YMCA enable kids to enjoy a variety of fun, safe, and challenging activities during the weeks of December, February, and April school vacations. Full Day programs are also provided on most holidays. Families can be assured of a caring environment where children receive excellent supervision, quality programming, and lasting memories. |
