Adult Health & Well-being

YMCAs have led community-based health and well-being opportunities for more than a century. Our programs stimulate spirit, mind and body in a variety of ways. Whether you prefer the socialization and fitness challenge of group exercise classes, or the individual attention of personal training or small group personal training, there is something for everyone at the Mill Pond Branch. We offer programs in free weight training, abdominal training, water aerobics, Yoga, and much more. Individuals with disabilities may want to explore the opportunities provided through the Partnership Program. For newcomers or those requiring a refresher, we also offer an orientation. Our Program Guide offers a complete list of classes on a session-by-session basis.

Complimentary body composition analyses are available to Y members, and to non-members for a small fee. Fitness testing is also offered for a fee, and includes a body composition analysis, blood pressure screening, and measurements of cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscle strength.
