Family Education Programs

Our Family Education programs offer the opportunity for parents and children to enrich and strengthen relationships and connect with other families. Infant Sign Language and Infant Massage deepen the bond between parent and child. Active Parenting teaches new techniques and strategies to help foster better behavior and enriching relationships.

For younger children, playgroups offer the opportunity for social interaction for parent and child. The Explorer Series includes themed playgroups facilitated by experienced parents and teachers. Toddler Explorers, Los Chicos Exploradores (Spanish Explorer Series), and Science Explorers are just a few of the opportunities available. For further information on these programs see our Program Guide or call (781) 829-8585, x318.

The Family Advisory Committee involves a volunteer group of energized parents who want to enhance the family component of the Y.

The YMCA also offers tutoring for students of all ages.
