Health & Well-being

At Quincy, we focus on helping youth learn about fitness and staying active in addition to developing lifelong healthy habits.  We offer youth fitness programs for all ages, including personal training, strength training, and classes for pre-teen girls.  In addition to cardiovascular machines and an indoor track, the Health & Well-being Center has youth-sized Hoist Fitness and Nautilus strength training equipment.  

Upon joining, all Junior members receive 3 complimentary training sessions with our Health & Well-being staff.  Our knowledgeable fitness staff work with youth to create safe and effective exercise programs, utilizing equipment appropriate to their age and size. A minimum of one training session is required to use exercise equipment.

Junior Members: 7-9 years old

  • Must complete a minimum of 1 complimentary training session.
  • Use the Health & Well-being Center within the exercise guidelines and recommendations.
  • Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (parents or guardians must be on the same floor as Junior members at all times).

Junior Members: 10+ years old

  • Must complete a minimum of 1 complimentary training session.
  • Work out in the Health & Well-being Center within YMCA exercise guidelines and recommendations.
