Our Day Camps Open June 29
Like many of you, we were delighted to hear the Governor’s announcement that day camps would be opening this summer in Massachusetts.
Parents can expect to see safety as the first and foremost focus at the South Shore YMCA day camps. For camp directors and counselors, the health and safety of our campers is paramount. We will open our doors in full compliance with state and local guidance and protocols, adapting as new information is provided and keeping you informed along the way.
The American Camp Association (ACA) and the YMCAs of the United States (Y-USA) have worked together to provide guidelines for day camps along with regulations from state and local health departments.
To keep children safe, smaller groups will be encouraged and our camper capacity may be limited. To reserve a space for your child, please register today as campers will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you have questions about your family’s camp experience, please contact our Camp Directors below.

Campers explore the habitats of animals living in our woods, ponds, meadows, and along the shore, while developing an awareness and appreciation for our local ecosystems.
