Lisa DrennanLisa Drennan, Association Director of Inclusion

Lisa joined the Y in March 2014 as the first-ever Association Director of Inclusion, coming from a 30 year career with New England Village in Pembroke. More recently, she served as Director of the Sollar Wellness Center, offering aquatics, fitness, music, art, and education specifically designed to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities. Lisa graduated from Saint Michael's College in Vermont with a Psychology degree. She lives with her family in Pembroke and is an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys outdoor adventure activities. 

Emmy CasagrandeEmmy Casagrande, Inclusion Coordinator

Emmy graduated with a BA in Spanish and Early Childhood Education from Regis College in 2001.  She graduated with a Master of Education in Moderate Special Needs, grades PreK-8 from Lesley University.  She is a Massachusetts certified teacher for students with moderate disabilities, PreK-8.  Emmy has taught in both Brookline Public and Marshfield Public Schools. She has over 13 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis in school, home and community settings.  Additionally, she has over 13 years of experience with Social Skills instruction.  In her free time, Emmy enjoys hanging out with her family.  She lives in Norwell, MA with her husband and two daughters.

Jackie MullenJackie Mullen, Inclusion Specialist

Jackie has been working at the Y since June of 2014. She earned her Master's Degree in Special Education Modern Disabilities in 2015 and her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2014 from Bridgewater State University. She currently works as a special education teacher for the Norton Public School District. Jackie began as an Intern at Camp Gordon Clark at the Y's Emilson Branch during the first summer inclusion supports were offered. In the summer of 2015, Jackie helped pilot inclusion supports at the Y's camp in Quincy as the Inclusion Coordinator. She also teaches the Building Bridges Social Skills Group at the Quincy YMCA. Jackie lives in Weymouth and is passionate about supporting the Y's mission to provide inclusive programming to the South Shore community. 

Lexi AndersonLexi Anderson, Inclusion Specialist                          

Lexi Anderson is currently finishing her degrees in English and Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. She is looking forward to graduating in December of 2016 and eventually having her own classroom. Lexi has worked at the Y for 8 years, and this will be her second year as an inclusion specialist. In the summer, she is the lower camps coordinator at Camp Gordon Clark. In her spare time, Lexi loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family.

Sarah RicciarelliSarah Ricciarelli, Inclusion Specialist

 

Sarah has worked at Camp Gordon Clark during the summer since 2009, but this is her first time working throughout the school year as an Inclusion Assistant. She received her B.A. in Sociology and Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2014, and most recently graduated from Lesley University with her Masters in Education. During the school week, you can also find Sarah working at the SkyTrail Explorer inside the Emilson branch!

Lauren ClarkeLauren Clarke, Inclusion Specialist

 

Lauren holds a B.S. degree in Sport & Movement Science with a concentration in Exercise Science from Salem State University, and also is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She has worked at the Emilson YMCA since the summer of 2014. While her first job experience with the YMCA was within the Health & Well-Being department, Lauren found an interest in helping out with some of the inclusion programs at the YMCA. She began working as an assistant teacher in the social skills classes held at the Y and continued on to become an Inclusion Specialist during the Summer Camp program. She now also instructs an Adaptive Fun and Fitness class, working the fitness aspect into the lives of those with special abilities.

Julianne BeaudetJulianne Beaudet, Inclusion Specialist

 

Julianne has her BA in Health Sciences from Quinnipiac University 2014. She is a Paraprofessional in the Rockland Public Schools. Her goal is to earn her Masters in Special Education. Julianne joined the YMCA as an Inclusion Specialist at Camp Gordon Clark Summer 2016. She will be working the Building Bridges Social Skills group at the Edmilson Branch. In her free time Julianne enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching the Patriots.
