On Wednesday, June 12, the South Shore YMCA celebrated all the participants, volunteers, and training partners who help make up our life-enhancing Partnership Program at the 2019 Partnership Luncheon at Laura’s Center for the Arts on the Emilson branch campus.
Our Partnership Program provides structured adaptive exercise programs and training support for those with physical disabilities, and it is available at no cost to members. Training partners assist participants with exercise to improve or maintain physical conditioning, stay active in sports, recreation and everyday activities. Specialized, adaptive exercise equipment and one-to-one exercise assistance is available through the South Shore YMCA Partnership Program.
