Monthly Rate/Fee
The monthly rate is an ongoing fee that is paid through an automatic withdrawal from a bank account or credit card. To stop withdrawals, please call or visit your home branch to fill out a cancellation form. A 30-day notice is required for cancellation.
Annual Membership dues are non-refundable.
Joiner’s Fee
A joiner’s fee is required for certain membership types. This fee must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
Membership Types & FeesFinancial Assistance – Membership for All
The South Shore YMCA strives to serve the entire community. Through our Membership for All program, financial assistance is available based on household income and other criteria. Assistance is made possible through charitable donations to our annual campaign.

We understand that members may need to leave the Y at some point in life, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Visit ssymca.org/membership-benefits/cancellations for details and to submit your Cancellation or Hold request online.

Special Program Rates for Members
In order to receive member rates on SSYMCA programs, your membership must be current throughout the entire program session. If membership is terminated during the session, Non-Member rates will be charged for the remainder of the program.
