SSYMCA Kicks Off Annual Campaign with Staff Event at Wahlburgers

On Tuesday, October 29 over 150 South Shore Y staff came together for the 2020 Staff Appeal Kickoff at Wahlburgers restaurant in the Hingham Shipyard. It was a night of food and fun – as staff celebrated their passion for the Y community. Staff led the way for the 2020 Annual Campaign by donating over $40,000 of our $95,000 staff goal by December 3, in support of our charitable mission.

The South Shore YMCA is a charity. As the region’s leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, we work side-by-side with our neighbors every day to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. To do our important work, the Y relies on charitable donations to our Annual Campaign, which raises funds to provide financial assistance to ensure that all can participate in South Shore YMCA membership, programs and services.
