To our Hale Family Y Members & Friends,
Happy New Year! We are excited to announce that our much-anticipated Hale Family YMCA expansion project will begin on Monday, January 6. The expansion will add an almost 9,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Gymnastics Center and our largest group exercise studio, which will be nearly 3,500 square feet. The project is expected to be completed in the winter of 2026.
As the project begins next week, here are a few things you’ll need to know for January. Our goal is to minimize disruptions to your Y experience throughout the entire project.
- Starting January 6, 2025, a small portion of our side parking lot will be unavailable for parking.
- To accommodate construction vehicles and materials, our playground driveway will not be accessible to members, including State Street Early Learning Center families.
