State of the Town Breakfast

The Town of Hanover and the Hanover Chamber of Commerce  provided citizens, businesses, and elected officials an update on the affairs of the Hanover community at their Annual State of the Town Breakfast on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 7:30 am at the South Shore YMCA Laura’s Center for the Arts open air pavilion at the Emilson YMCA branch in Hanover.

Hanover Chamber of Commerce President, Erin Richardson, was the host and emcee of this year’s event. South Shore YMCA President & CEO, Paul Gorman, and David Delaney, Chairman of the Hanover Board of Selectmen, welcomed attendees representing a wide cross-section of business, civic, and political leaders in the region, and Town Manager Joe Colangelo provided an update on the State of the Town.

This year’s speakers include Frank Giglio of Merchants Row, Jill Donelan of the Hanover Farmers Market, and Ed Callahan of Hanover Crossing.

Mr. Giglio announced some exciting additions to Merchants Row, including Crumbl bakery. Mr. Callahan announced the addition of an L.L. Bean flagship store to the new Hanover Crossing project, and estimates that Market Basket will be open by the end of this year.

The annual breakfast is an opportunity to highlight the relationships that the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Hanover have forged with local business owners and community partners like the South Shore YMCA.
