Whether you’re 2 or 102, or anywhere in between, the South Shore YMCA has everything you need to swim, play, get healthy, find a new hobby, or spend quality time as a family. We’re dedicated to providing families with fun ways to get creative and be active together, so check out a few of our kid-friendly events below that are taking place throughout July at the SSYMCA:

Kids Day Outs: Go out get some errands done, get your nails done, go shopping, make a doctor appointment or catch up with friends while your children play, explore and learn with experienced, caring YMCA staff. Pizza is provided, themed day fun and surprises.
Age: 2 – 9 Yrs.
Non-refundable Fees: Member – $20/child, Non-Member – $25/child
(9am-12pm): 7/2, 7/15, 7/24, 7/31, 8/2, 8/7 and 8/14
Friday Family Fun Night: Every Friday in July at the Emilson Y from 5pm-7pm, you’ll find a bounce house, games, family swim and SkyTrail: included in the household membership
Family Gym Playgroup: Every Wednesday and Friday from 10:30am-12pm in the gym. Included with household membership/ $7 per child for non-members.
Birthday parties and Tutoring are also available per request. Family Gym
Join other parents and children for a morning of structured play, fun and social time while working to build the 5 pillars that support a healthy family: eat healthy, play every day, time together, unplug and sleep well! Every child’s parent or caregiver needs to be actively involved in the group.

Saturday Family Prime Time
A variety of family-friendly activities are hosted at the Hale Family YMCA (Quincy). Enjoy meeting other families as well as trying new activities. Every child’s parent or caregiver needs to be actively supervising child participants for their safety during activities.
– 3:00pm-4:30pm inflatable fun – located in the field house
– 4:30pm-7:30pm open swim for families – located in the pool
