Murphy Electric Industrial Controls made a huge difference bringing together 30 volunteers to help get Camp ready for Kids this summer.
On Saturday May 22, a group of family members, friends, and employees from Murphy Electric gave their time to lend a helping hand to the South Shore YMCA Camp Burgess and Hayward, preparing for a summer of happy campers.
Lead by the amazing Leader Dan Murphy, President of Murphy Electric, and his daughter Keryn, the day was full of positive energy to help get the grounds ready for summer campers. This past December, Dan and Keryn were inspired by our mission and donated funds to send 5 girls and boys to resident camp.
The group was hard at work all day and the grounds looked beautiful, everyone that participated understood the importance of having a place like Camp Burgess and Hayward for kids to learn and grow. It was an inspiring day witnessing the goodness from others that want to continue to make sure that kids are given all opportunities to thrive and have hope for a better future.
We are so thankful for this partnership, and look forward to many more events with Murphy Electric.
