Posted: Dec. 24, 2024

The South Shore YMCA is thrilled to announce a $7,000 grant from the Arthur Ashley Williams Foundation to support our Hope for the Holidays program. This heartwarming initiative ensures that hundreds of local children receive presents, warm coats, and more, bringing joy and comfort to families in need during the holiday season.

“At the South Shore YMCA, we believe every child deserves a magical holiday, and this generous grant from the Arthur Ashley Williams Foundation helps us make that vision a reality,” said Katelyn Szafir, Branch Executive of the Hale Y. “Thanks to their support, we can extend hope, warmth, and joy to families who look to us during this special time of year.”

The Hope for the Holidays program is a cornerstone of the Y’s commitment to building strong, caring communities. By supporting families facing financial challenges, this initiative not only brightens the holiday season but also strengthens bonds within our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Arthur Ashley Williams Foundation for their generous support and belief in our mission to serve those most in need. Together, we are spreading joy and hope to local families this holiday season.
