EMPOWERING ATHLETES OF ALL ABILITIES TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAM
Join us for the 2026 Laura’s Love Memorial Event, a fun community event to raise funds that directly benefit adaptive sports programs at the South Shore YMCA.
This event funds competitive adaptive sports programming at the South Shore YMCA, including the Lob-Stars, our signature inclusive tennis program for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Laura’s Love raises funds to provide support for athlete equipment needs, staffing and coaching, and participation and travel to local, regional and national competitions. Funds raised at the event also support the growth of new adaptive sports programs at the South Shore YMCA.
The Laura’s Love Memorial Event includes a unified tournament, a mixed doubles tournament, and a social gathering to celebrate our athletes.

The Laura's Love Memorial Event is held in memory of Laura Emilson-Riekert, whose passion for the YMCA’s inclusion programs helped countless children in our community to flourish as part of a team. The Laura’s Love Memorial Event carries her spirit each year to our community. Donate
