Staystrong is the South Shore YMCA’s free, year-long wellness and support program for individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families. During Staystrong Month, we invite you to learn more about this life-changing initiative at one of our upcoming Info Sessions:

Guest Speakers

  • Jordan Love, PA-C, MPH, Brigham & Women’s and Dana-Farber – Jordan Love is a Breast Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she provides compassionate and skilled care to patients with breast cancer. A graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine’s dual Physician Assistant and Master of Public Health program, Jordan is committed to improving access and quality of care for vulnerable populations. Her clinical interests include breast cancer diagnosis, surveillance, and patient-centered outcomes research, with a focus on psychosocial wellbeing among adolescents and young adults with cancer. 

  • Hoyt Denton, Spiritual Formation Lead, Life Community Church – Hoyt Denton serves as the Spiritual Formation Department Head at Life Community Church in Quincy, where he leads efforts to deepen spiritual growth and connection within the community. With a background in seminary training and church planting, Hoyt brings a compassionate and thoughtful approach to ministry. As a guest speaker at the South Shore YMCA’s upcoming Staystrong Information Session, Hoyt will offer spiritual guidance and encouragement to individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis, sharing insights on how faith can be a source of strength, peace, and resilience during life’s most challenging seasons.
