HELP FIGHT FOOD INSECURITY TODAY
As Massachusetts residents await SNAP benefits to be restored, the South Shore YMCA continues to help fight food insecurity for our community through our South Shore YMCA Food Pantry, located at the Germantown Neighborhood Center in Quincy. To help, please purchase and donate gift cards in $50 increments to local grocery stores that can be used to purchase groceries and essential items like diapers for families. Or, please make a monetary donation online at ssymca.org/donate and designate your gift to the Food Pantry. Thank you!
SUPPORT OUR FOOD PANTRY
The need for healthy food is becoming greater for so many families, and we are doing our best to help. The South Shore YMCA Food Pantry at the Germantown Neighborhood Center has been providing low-income households in Quincy with fresh and non-perishable foods since 2006. Our Food Pantry allows us to assist by providing households with a week’s worth of groceries, providing critical support to hundreds of families each month. The Food Pantry is open year-round, two mornings per week to accommodate different schedules.
Donations can be made online or mailed to South Shore YMCA, 79 Coddington Street, Quincy MA 02169, ATTN: Development.
