School Vacation & Holiday Programs
Need care for your kids during school vacations or school holiday closures? Our School Vacation Programs allow kids to enjoy a variety of fun, safe, and challenging activities at our Emilson YMCA (Hanover) branches during December, February, and April school vacations, as well as many major holidays. Families can be assured of a caring environment where children receive excellent supervision, quality programming, and lasting memories.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day & Veterans Day Programs | Emilson YMCA, Hanover
School is out, but the fun is on at the Y! Join us at the Emilson YMCA for special school holiday programs on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Monday, October 12, and Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. Children in grades K–6 can enjoy swimming, sports, games, crafts, STEAM activities, and more with friends across the Emilson YMCA campus. Led by our experienced youth development team, each day gives kids a safe and engaging place to have fun, build confidence, and make new friends.

- Dates: Monday, October 12 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day), Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day)
- Hours: 8 AM–5 PM

- Indigenous Peoples’ Day registration deadlines:
- October 2 at 9 AM for families using state vouchers/financial aid
- October 4 at 9 AM for self-pay families.
- Veterans Day registration deadlines:
- October 30 at 9 AM for families using state vouchers/financial aid
- November 4 at 9 AM for self-pay families.

Spend the day off from school with us at the Germantown Neighborhood Center! Children in grades K–8 can enjoy a fun-filled day with friends featuring sports, arts and crafts, and more. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided.
