Lifeguarding at the Y
Lifeguarding at the Y offers competitive wages, great leadership support, and various shifts available!
Under the supervision of the South Shore YMCA Swim Academy aquatics team leadership, the Lifeguard is charged with effectively and safely supervising the pool environment in accordance with policies established by the South Shore YMCA while also providing a high level of professionalism and member service.
Qualifications
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR Certification
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred
Lifeguard Training Reimbursement
The South Shore YMCA highly values the benefits provided to YMCA members by certified Lifeguards. The South Shore YMCA will reimburse eligible employees for the financial cost, up to 100%, less certificate cost, for the required Red Cross Lifeguard training. Lifeguard Training Reimbursement Policies
