No problem! The South Shore Y offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Courses at our Emilson YMCA and Hale Family YMCA. Plus, ask us about course reimbursement opportunities once you join our team.
Lifeguard Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to earn it through our training program)
- A positive attitude and commitment to safety and teamwork

Lifeguard Training Reimbursement
The South Shore YMCA recognizes the important role certified lifeguards play in keeping our members safe.
