In the event of inclement weather, South Shore YMCA facility closings and/or program cancellations will be communicated via updates at ssymca.org/weather and email announcements. Program participants may also contact the program location or program director for updates.

To our South Shore YMCA Members & Community,

We are happy to report that the Hale Family YMCA branch has reopened, and power has been fully restored.

Please note that our Hale Family YMCA pool control systems were impacted by the power outage, and Hale pools will be offline for repair until further notice.

We will provide an update on our website home page when Hale pools reopen. In the meantime, South Shore YMCA members are invited to enjoy the pools at our Emilson Y branch in Hanover. Visit the Emilson pool schedule at ssymca.org/schedules for details to help plan your visit.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding as our team has worked tirelessly to clear snow and prepare our branch for reopening. We are all looking forward to spring!
