The South Shore YMCA Early Learning Center is a vibrant early childhood educational setting for children ages 6 weeks to 5+ years old. Our certified teachers and care-givers provide a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for young children to learn, thrive, and grow. All programs are developmentally appropriate and adaptive to fit the unique strengths and abilities of each individual child.
2020-2021 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
There have been many questions about when we will begin our registration for our South Shore YMCA Early Learning and Afterschool programs for the new 2020-2021 school year in light of the current COVID-19 situation.
Currently, it is too early to craft a timeline for registration, as we are waiting for additional guidance and guidelines for reopening, and how it may affect enrollment. There are simply too many unknowns at this point.
Our first priority is the safety of everyone in our South Shore YMCA community. We will continue to update you as things change, and will be careful and deliberate as we consider our next steps. We do appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate this unprecedented time.
I too have been keeping track of all those reaching out, and will be sure to print out your information, and reach out to you once the process does begin.

FACILITIES & AMENITIES
The Y is committed to building a safe and child-centered atmosphere where children grow, learn and thrive. You can count on the South Shore YMCA to partner with you and your family in committing to keep all children safe through education, prevention and awareness.
I am so happy our family found the Early Learning Center. Because of the unmatched patience and support of his teachers, my previously reluctant boy learned to join in activities and is getting an amazing head start. He comes home excited to tell me about his day: making artwork, hearing stories, music time, swimming, and having fun both in the gigantic KidZone and outdoor playground. This program has helped my son in so many ways, and for that I am grateful.
